Financial Accountant AR / AP with International Focus (m/w/d)

To support our international Finance Team, we are now looking for a part-time Financial Accountant AR / AP with an International Focus (m/f/d) to be located in our global headquarters in the heart of Hamburg, from where we direct and oversee the international business of the Almased Group. You may choose a workplace in Bienenbüttel as well.

Key Role Responsibilities

Daily Bookkeeping: handling of incoming and outgoing invoices including VAT coding, registering incoming and outgoing payments, clearing supplier and customer ledger accounts
Supporting the local Director to follow up on Accounts Receivable
Monthly balance reconciliation (bank, accrued costs, fixed assets)
Independent monthly closing process
Supporting the external tax consultant on VAT reconciliation and reporting
Supporting on the end of fiscal year reporting and statutory audit

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in AR / AP accounting
Knowledge of the general accounting standards and general accounting principles
Higher education in economy or finance
Good verbal and written communication in English is a must; German is a plus
Experience working with SAP Business One is a plus
Affinity for learning new systems and digital tools
Detail oriented and high analytical skills
